The organization reminds you that alcohol abuse is hazardous to your health. Alcohol should be consumed in moderation.La Médocaine is a mountain bike ride open to men and women
born before 01.01.99, whether licensed or not.
Courses range from 20 to 80 km.
YOU MUST RESPECT THE TRAFFIC CODE
AND SIGNS SET UP BY THE ORGANIZATION
REGISTRATION
Only on the site www.medocainevtt.com under “Inscriptions”.
Registration fee: €40, which includes:
- A welcome gift
- Timing, safety and signage registration costs
- Medical assistance
- Supplies and activities at the start/finish line and on the course
- Restrooms, showers and bicycle wash stations upon arrival
- Individual awards, prizes for the best individual and group costumes.
TERMS
Once your Bank Card payment has been accepted on our secure website, you will receive a registration confirmation email within 72 hours. Print and sign this confirmation. Your attending physician must complete the “medical certificate” section (if you do not have a valid 2012 athletic permit).
DOCUMENTS TO BE PROVIDED
Confirmation, medical certificate for the current civil year (2012) completed by your attending physician on the medical certificate section of the confirmation.

REIMBURSEMENT
From April 20, 2012, no reimbursements will be granted for any reason whatsoever. Before April 20, your registration fee may be reimbursed with submission of an appropriate medical certificate.
Attention: only the first 6,000 requests will be considered depending on the number of available spots set by the organization.
• All participants must provide proof of Third-Party Insurance providing protection for any accident involving a third party or the participant.
• Plates/number will be given out in the Panchon multipurpose room at Arsac according to the schedule.
Courses
Detailed maps of the courses are displayed in the cyclist number distribution area and at the starting area at the Plaine des Sports d’Arsac.
Check-in
Any participant who does not check in at the cyclist number distribution area will not be allowed to participate.
• Safety
- Respect the traffic code on road portions, respect the organizers’ decisions.
- For safety reasons, anyone withdrawing from the race must notify the organization.
- The organization does not provide return services for people and bicycles in case of withdrawal for any reason.
Medical assistance: Provided by the organization at the start-finish line and on the course.
Mechanical assistance (optional): At the starting line and at determined points (supplies).
Supplies: On the course, approximately every 15 km.
Wine booths: Set up at the organizers’ discretion.
Restrooms and showers: Available to participants at the Arsac municipal stadium.
Bicycle wash station: Available to cyclists upon arrival.
Timekeeping: For all registered participants.
Insurance: This event is covered by the organizers by an Organization Civil Liability policy. Each participant must obtain personal insurance coverage for risks incurred or caused. Competitors will not be covered by the organizer’s civil liability policy after hours (hours displayed at the various supply stations).
Environment: Please respect the locations and environment you pass through.
- Respect chateau parks and paths.
- Respect the mountain biking charter.
- Crossing rows of vines is prohibited.
- The organization is not liable for any damage to individual material or equipment during the event.
- The organization is not liable in case of accident, fall, loss, theft, etc.
• Rights of personal portrayal: The organization reserves the right to use the photographs and videos taken during the event to promote La Médocaine as well as the athletic events revolving around it.
NB
The "LA MÉDOCAINE" courses are used exclusively for this event, as private properties are being crossed, and may not be reused outside the event.
